Fine Tune Series
This is our signature class. Rooted in contemporary Pilates and functional movement, this class is designed to keep you moving through life, build strength you never thought was possible, all while feeling your Finest! A new sequence will be released quarterly, meaning we’ll lead you through the same sequence of exercises for three months straight. Repeating the same sequence gives you the opportunity to practice, and improve on particular exercises and concepts before changing things up. The result is a well-rounded movement practice, and a body that feels strong, balanced, and aligned.
What’s Recommended:
Open to all skill levels and a great place to start if you’re new to Fine Tune or Reformer. If you’re working with specific goals, conditions or injuries please consider taking Solo sessions in conjunction with this class to achieve the full benefits of the Fine Tune Series.
Jump
This class is designed to get your heart pumping and the endorphins flowing. Done regularly, JUMP will shape and tone your body, while gradually improving your endurance. We turn the music up a little louder, and energetic instruction will motivate you through this 50-minute high intensity class. You’ll leave feeling fitter, stronger, and exerted!
What’s Recommended:
Previous experience on the Reformer in a group setting (does not include Lagree Megaformer) or First Timer Solo session. If you’re a new to reformer movement or if you don’t jump on the regular, this class may feel overwhelming. Not recommended for clients who have knee injuries, or prior back injuries such as slipped or bulging discs. Not advised for clients who are pregnant.
Refine & Align
This is a thoughtful class focused on building support in the body for better posture, overall wellbeing, and injury prevention. Encouraging a deep level of awareness, even people with specific injuries can feel safe to move here. If you’re feeling depleted, if it’s your off day from more athletic type workouts, or if you are just looking to refine your existing practice and movements, this is what you need to tune into your body. Really honing in on being present in each moment and movement, REFINE & ALIGN will leave you feeling both taller and calmer.
What’s Recommended:
Open to all skill levels and a great place to start if you are new to Pilates or Reformer. This class is generally safe for a wide range of conditions and needs. If you’re working with specific injuries please consider taking Solo sessions in conjunction with this class to create a deeper relationship with your body and to achieve the full benefits of Refine & Align.
Strengthen
This class is designed to build strength. The spring tension is heavy, the feel factor is high, and the pace is steady. This class targets some of the bigger muscle groups, all while keeping things in ideal alignment. This is a full body class that will leave you feeling energized and seriously strong.
What’s Recommended:
Open to all skill levels, previous Reformer experience recommended. If you’re working with specific injuries or movement goals, please consider taking Solo sessions prior to or in conjunction with this class to achieve the full benefits of Strengthen. Never move beyond your limits, please ask your instructor for spring variations should you find yourself at muscular max.
Stretch & Balance
This juicy class is full of stretchy moves combined with vital joint mobility. Feel the support of the reformer springs as you sink deeper into lunges, twists, and side bends. We throw in some balance work with an emphasis on finding deep core muscles. You’ll feel balanced, long, and relaxed.
What’s Recommended:
Open to all skill levels. If you’re working with specific injuries please consider taking Solo sessions in conjunction with this class to achieve the full benefits of Stretch & Balance. We encourage you to honor your body in this class, feel the feels and only go as deep as is safe for you. Balance is also about respecting and tuning into our boundaries and meeting ourselves in movement wherever we are at any given moment.
Post-Natal
A class specifically designed for mommas to get their groove back post-baby. This class builds the strength you’ll need to care for your little person on the daily, and to regain muscle tone after pregnancy and birth, with special care around common postnatal conditions like diastasis recti and prolapse. Bring your bubs, or not, up to you.
What’s Recommended:
Available to all mommas no matter the age of your mini, unfortunately we can only accommodate children up to the age of 14 months accompanied by their parent. Logistically it’s hard to wrangle toddlers over the age of 14 months, and our insurers do not cover children over this age, that means we can’t make any exceptions. Mommas must be at least 6 weeks postpartum, and gotten the go-ahead from their health care practitioner before engaging in this class.
Music Industry
Musicians need Pilates. The repetitive motion from playing an instrument or DJing can take its toll on the body, not to mention a life on the road. If you’ve lugged gear around, had your head in your instrument, slept on a plane or in the back of a van lately, this class is for you. We focus on mobility in wrists and shoulders while challenging the core. You’ll leave feeling like you worked out, while better preparing your body for what life as a musician throws at you.
What’s Recommended:
Open to all skill levels. Bring the funk.
